Area Guide

Finchley, North London, is a sprawling cosmopolitan suburb which has been quartered into ‘North’, ‘East’, ‘West’,  and ‘Finchley Central’ by main High Street thoroughfares – with each area characterised by its own individual style and era of property.  However, all regions are highly sought after as they satisfy various criteria such as schooling, transport, shopping, parkland and tube connections.  Prices in each area vary considerably, with period Victorian and Edwardian detached properties achieving high levels, and the mansions in the renowned ‘Bishops Avenue’, East Finchley, achieving undisclosed sums!  At the other end of the scale, first-time buyers can generally secure anything from a one-bedroom flat upwards  in most of these locations, and all of the areas provide favourable family living accommodation, and a multitude of flats and apartments for the young professionals and retired, alike.

  • Dear Casey, my husband and I would like to thank you for your kindness and your efficiency. We highly recommend you for your professionalism. We wish you the most successful pursuit in your career with Real Estates, which you have indeed represented very well.

  • It’s a big relief to get the exchange done and dusted. We have bought and sold a fair number of flats and houses over the years and I’d like to say that I have never worked with an agent as efficient, canny, courteous and smart as you. I doubt this would have happened without your dogged persistence and we’re both very grateful to you.

  • I’m well aware of the efforts you and your team made not only to obtain a sale, but to assist me with a tricky situation. Lock down. Distance. Disrepair. A mess. Clearance.
Your friendly, supportive, professional service knew no bounds. I’m only too well aware that you went way beyond the call of duty. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to you, Casey and Tracey. It was a pleasure to meet you and to have you as part of our lives, albeit temporarily.

  • We just wanted to thank you so much for all your interventions and hard work in selling our house. All the Team worked so hard including Jordan and Casey. You certainly went beyond what is considered normal negotiations with our Buyer, calling in to see her personally when things got a little ‘tricky’ and smoothing the way forward. We really appreciate all your efforts in the sale and also securing our rental in Mill Hill. We will have no hesitation in recommending REAL ESTATES where appropriate, as you are the best, excellent, professional, friendly Team who get results. Again, THANK YOU for all your hard work during this difficult time.

  • I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you, Tracey and Casey for all your hard work and advice in helping us to get Northiam. Although there is a lot of work to do to the house, we have moved in and plans are almost finalised and actually the place already feels like home. I think it will be an amazing home for us all and we appreciate so much the lengths you all went to in order to make this happen. Tracey deserves a special mention. She put up with me (dealt with me / tolerated me) amazingly well! If she hasn’t had one already, she definitely deserves a huge New Year’s pay rise!
