The Team

Stephen Barnett

Building a highly successful boutique estate agency business in North London is no fluke. From its humble beginnings back in 1981, starting as a small office in Woodside Park, Stephen has created an established, unique, and trusted agency with an enviable reputation as ‘the’ experts in property, spanning over four decades. As a Partner, he’s continually growing the business and keeping up with property trends, providing a highly tailored service, irrespective of price or size of the property. Stephen enjoys his tennis, possessing a John McEnroe style approach but without the red headband, as well as a love for Spurs.

Oliver Ross

Oliver’s Real Estates journey started as a fresh-faced 16-year-old joining the team in 2004. He’s now a Partner heading up the Totteridge office. Being a local to the area, he has a strong passion for his role and the responsibilities this involves; supporting local schools, businesses and most importantly people. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and can be seen strolling across Totteridge Common with his family at any opportunity.

Caroline joined Real Estates in 2010, bringing her wealth of experience in the estate agency sector, spanning over forty years, which began at Ronald Preston & Partners, now Preston Bennett. Her Administrator role is just one of Caroline’s skill sets and she is particularly accomplished in nurturing our clients whilst being the friendly face for our customers that are greeted upon arrival at our Woodside Park office. She has a keen interest in the history of architecture and in her opinion, the best city in the world, is of course, London.

Jordan Silver

Senior Negotiator

Jordan took up the position of Senior Sales Negotiator over eight years ago and specialises in advising clients on the sale of properties. He prides himself on providing the most up-to-date, honest and professional advice to those looking to buy and sell in and around our target areas. Jordan has previously worked as a local agent before bringing his expertise in negotiating and valuing properties to Real Estates. An avid Spurs fan, you’ll catch him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium most weekends or walking along Whetstone high street with his family.

Dan Cohen

Dan had previously worked at Dexters for 3 years, managing a team of consultants and dealing with some high-end properties in Central London, so he brings valuable experience to the business. Being Woodside Park born and bred only adds to his expertise in understanding the local property market. He loves football, whether it’s running a local Sunday team or supporting his beloved QPR down at Loftus Road. Being a car fanatic, Dan can be seen on sunny days with the roof down taking in the beautiful surrounding area.

Other than property, her two loves are her dog and food so in her spare time you will find her walking her dog or trying out all the new places to eat and drink with friends!

  • Through the process of initially looking for a property to rent, to then looking for one to buy, and selling my own property, I dealt with 30-40 estate agents over a period of about one year, from the large national companies to the small independents, and Dan Cohen of Real Estates in Woodside Park was outstanding. We bought our house through him, and he was transparent, communicative, kept his word and worked hard to ensure the sale went through, including checking up and updating me on the sale of my flat

  • We had the pleasure of dealing with Jordan in our recent purchase. He is a credit to Real Estates. He is the utmost professional; delivering on promises, happy to drive to conclusions and isn’t afraid of tough conversations which are needed to resolve underlying issues. Without Jordan leading the transaction we would not have been in the position to move forward at the pace both myself and the vendors were happy with. We couldn’t be any happier with the way that Jordan performed on this transaction and hope he receives the recognition that he deserves. When we look to move again we will be reaching out to Jordan and would ask that he is assigned to our transactions going forward.

  • Following our recent purchase, through the professional assistance of Jordan Silver, I would like you to know how very happy we were with the support your senior sales negotiator provided to us.

  • I just wanted to write to say thank you. I cannot begin to tell you how overjoyed and delighted we are. We have somehow, and against so many odds, been gifted with the most beautiful house, on such a lovely road, with the brook at the bottom of our garden. The last few weeks have been completely agonising, and perhaps one of the most emotional times of my life. The faith you put in us, to stick with us, to provide the support and reassurance, and to get us over the line is something I genuinely will never forget.

  • Dear Casey, my husband and I would like to thank you for your kindness and your efficiency. We highly recommend you for your professionalism. We wish you the most successful pursuit in your career with Real Estates, which you have indeed represented very well.

    - FF
  • It’s a big relief to get the exchange done and dusted. We have bought and sold a fair number of flats and houses over the years and I’d like to say that I have never worked with an agent as efficient, canny, courteous and smart as you. I doubt this would have happened without your dogged persistence and we’re both very grateful to you.

  • I’m well aware of the efforts you and your team made not only to obtain a sale, but to assist me with a tricky situation. Lock down. Distance. Disrepair. A mess. Clearance.
Your friendly, supportive, professional service knew no bounds. I’m only too well aware that you went way beyond the call of duty. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to you, Casey and Tracey. It was a pleasure to meet you and to have you as part of our lives, albeit temporarily.

    - AM
  • Dear Jordan, I really appreciate everything you have done for us over the period of selling our house. You are the best Agent of all! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

    - NR
  • We wanted to say a big thank you for all of your help over the last few months. We‘ve already fallen in love with the house and think we’ll be really happy here!

    - J & SH
  • We are absolutely over the moon!! Thank you once again. Your communication throughout has been excellent. This process has been a real pleasure.
