Arkley

Properties in Arkley vary greatly as a result of centuries of habitation in the area, but generally comprise a mostly traditional mix of two bedroom cottages to multi-million pound properties. Several redevelopments within Arkley have created ‘private closes’, comprising newly constructed, substantial detached residences, often favoured by those preferring a more secluded lifestyle. With greenbelt abutting much of the area, Arkley exudes a ‘countryside’ feel, further enhanced by private Golf Club, garden nursery and Equestrian/Livery Stables. Arkley in general is a classic linear village running between Barnet and Stirling Corner, which is easily accessed from the A1 and M25 with good transport links into London via the Northern Line on the London Underground or via several local overland railway stations within a couple of miles.
